I enjoyed the trip down memory lane or nerf lane which ever fits best. Can't believe they left out edge bomb groups! Now there was a skilled build =p

Nostalgia is a bit odd for a "state of the game" article.

Suggestion: Create some GW lore instead of State of the Game articles.

Only few Henchmen have an official write-up on Guildwars.com.

- Tell me more about Livia! (e.g. her address)
- Aidan. He seems to have a troublesome past. Tell me more about him, maybe also why he always gets bad builds.

- Tell us more about Pyre Fierceshot's warband.
- A background story for Rotscale, please.
- The diary of Duncan, the Hierophant.
- Confessions of Gwen: I had part in the Searing.
- What Eve really thinks about Livia.
- King Adelbern's speech to the people of Ascalon: How to vanquish the Eastern Frontier.

Personally, I think Rotscale's an underling of that undead dragon mentioned in the GW2 article. After all, he -is- in the same zone where the Mantle found the Scepter of Orr...

IMO: Writing an article like that, it takes the same kind of nerve it takes to openly brag about the number of endangered animals one has killed.

And now back to Hunting and killing with Jimbo and Ned.

IWAY?

I hear that.... I think of the White Mantle.
That is all.
The rest of it means little or nothing to me.
I have been playing since just before the release of Nightfall.... so not all that long in the grand scheme of things.

I think the earliest nerf I remember is.... Spiritual Pain. I never really paid attention before that. I just found the idea of Mesmer nuke-squads to be highly amusing.

LMAO... and yeah wheres there EoE bomb nostalgia? Nothing better than going into the 1st Tombs fight as a noobie getting ready to fight the other team and as you get into range your whole team and all of theirs but 1 guy exploded in a split second making you wonder just what the hell happened... lol.

Remember when Proph Necros had 30+ minions, SR was broken, and Sorrow's Furnace was 2-man-green-farmable? Yeah, I don't miss them at all.

Also, PVP = meh.

Same here. That's all I could remember them using.

Anyways, it was a fun read. It did give some good insight into how much GW has moved on.

OMFG! One could only imagine if they had never nerfed that and Hero MM's were able to do that. PvE would be like starting Pre Sear with a Level 20.

He left out all the crap they've done to the Necro over this period of time. Capping Minions to 10 and the horrible nerf to SR. Then the attack on hexes. Poor necro does anyone use them much in GvG or HA anymore? I remember they had some popularity with IWAY before it got nerfed to oblivion and then some of the Necro Blood Spike teams and then they nerfed OOB to oblivion as well and that was the end of that. Seems like everything that was FUN has been nerfed to Oblivion. Because of some whiney balance whiners who only want to see the stupid holy trinity wars and every GvG match goto VoD. Boring Very Boring.

Aren't you supposed to be hanging out in the Ascalon Arena right about now?
